Robert Half is seeking a short-term contract Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become a vital part of a rapidly growing team at a respectable company in the detail oriented Services industry. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Located in Santa Monica, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract and the role is ON-SITE.Key responsibilities- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Produce full-cycle A/P- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them- Carry out additional projects as required- Provide support during internal and external audits- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasksRequirements- Excellent attention to detail- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases- Experience with Enter Invoices- Code Invoices experience- Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)- NetSuite experience desired- Command of NetSuite- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
