Do you want to be part of Danish Crown’s Feeding the Future strategy that will have a significant impact on our way to deliver IT projects? And do you want to participate in and lead highly complex IT projects in an international food company? Then you might be the new IT Project Manager, we are looking for in our Global IT PMO at our corporate headquarters in Randers.   Global IT is responsible for developing, implementing, and operating IT across the Danish Crown Group. Within Global IT, we are more than 300 colleagues allocated in Denmark, England, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, and China, and around 150 have their work base at the HQ in Randers. You’ll be part of our IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO), which develops and sets the standards for Danish Crown’s project management going forward.   Get responsibility and participate in highly complex IT projectsYou will be a part of a growing IT PMO team with currently 7 internal Project Managers with collaborative and supportive ways of working. This means that you will be working with individual tasks, but always with a team of experienced colleagues to support you.You will be responsible for various projects, ranging from analysis to development, implementation and roll-outs. The projects vary in terms of stakeholder management and technical complexity. This will give you full insight to the full life cycle of the projects working with both medium and large-sized project teams, including both highly technical specialists and non-technical employees. In Danish Crown we have just started our Agile journey hence, you – as an IT Project Manager – shall be able to work in both waterfall inspired and Agile projects with differing degrees of maturity.   The projects are supporting our strategy lighthouses i.e., sustainability, transparency and digitalisation, and they cover both administrative IT, SAP, production IT and Cloud Solutions. Your main tasks will include:• Pre-analysis and prepare project charters for approval board• Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owners in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customer’s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system• Compose and embed project planning, clarify and coordinate need for resources• Develop overview of and control project costs and ensure agreed delivery of projects in respect to time, quality and costs• Manage scope and control changes, risks and issues• Manage project activities and drive status activities with stakeholders• Facilitate steering committees, prepare communication plans and ensure targeted communication to stakeholders• Being a frontrunner for increased project maturity across the Danish Crown Group, contributing actively to defining and developing the project excellence strategy and standards.   Your primary workplace will be in the Danish Crown HQ in Randers, however an estimated amount of 30-60 travel days must be expected per year.   Curious Project Manager with stakeholder management skills You hold a relevant education at bachelor’s or master’s level and have a couple of years of experience within project management and working in an agile environment, preferably from a larger company. You master English and Danish at the negotiating level. You understand how to convert business needs to IT requirements, and you are curious and motivated by high professional standards and ready to take the initiative.   You are a team player and able to develop and maintain valuable relations across the organisation through your great communication and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable with finding your way through ambiguity and situations where stakeholders hold divergent opinions. Furthermore, you find yourself comfortable at all levels within the organisation, be it on the factory floor or amongst steering group executives, and maybe you have already experience in navigating in a complex stakeholder landscape.   For the right candidate, the role holds great development opportunities, which may result in larger and more cross-functional assignments across the Danish Crown Group, where you also will get the chance to influence your role.
