Purchase Ledger | Blackburn | Up to £24k | Office based | 24 days plus bank holidays | Parking onsiteYour new companyI am working with a thriving national business, based in Blackburn who are now looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis. Due to continued business expansion, they are looking to increase their headcount.Your new roleIn your new role as Purchase Ledger, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices daily, dealing with purchasing and producing statement reconciliations. You will make payments to suppliers, upload payments to the bank and send remittances. Alongside purchase ledger, you will be responsible for processing staff expenses and any other ad-hoc support in the Finance team. This is a full-time role, with some home working.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful for this position, you will have worked in a similar position recently and be able to hit the ground running. You must be incredibly organised, be able to manage your own workload with a self-starter attitude and be confident picking up new systems. Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables are essential for this role, and ideally have worked on SAP or another ERP system.What you'll get in returnIn return for this, you will be offered a full-time salary of £24,000 per annum.
