A Prestigious Real Estate and Investment Company located in Newark next to Penn Station seeks a Staff Accountant to work hybrid several days a week in the office and several days at home. Entry level accounting grads with a strong internship background will be considered. As a leader in the field, they offer a stimulating work environment, competitive compensation package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.   Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Requirements: Entry level accounting degree or 1+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, or internship experience while in school.Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels.The company offers an excellent working environment and the ability to work from home two days per week.
