Submit an application today!Your responsibilities in this role- Provide backup, redundancy strategies, and security- Take part in the design of information and operational support systems- Stand by for 2nd and 3rd level support- Note and support custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Review and check application performance for potential bottlenecks, distinguish possible solutions, and do business with developers to execute those fixes- Install, maintain, configure, and test operating systems, application software and system management tools- Maintain contact with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Administer and control all installed systems and infrastructure- Vigorously deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availabilityRequirements- 5+ years of relevant experience - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems- Solid understanding of Hyper-V- Strong familiarity with ESXi- Practical knowledge of Windows OS- Quality experience with system administration- VMware experience- General familiarity with Microsoft Azure- Earlier work involving Windows PowerShell- Well-founded grasp of Active Directory- Wide ranging experience with DNS- Previous experience working with virtualization- vSphere experience highly desired- Proven knowledge of Group Policy- Good understanding of Patching- This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has solid scripting skills- This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has experience with virtualization and containerization- This position requires a candidate with solid networking knowledge- This position requires a candidate with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with automation software- It is preferred for applicants to have experience with monitoring systems
