If you want to work with a dynamic Real Estate & Property company, you might be the Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional this dynamic team is looking for. Candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, will be preferred for this position. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Knoxville, Tennessee region, is a permanent position.How you will make an impact- Verify the correctness of documents and codes- Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts- Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced- Manage monthly closings and annual reports, including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP- Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders- Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required- Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasksThe position will require someone to live in the Knoxville area and will provide hybrid capabilitiesRequirements- NetSuite experience preferred- Strong familiarity with Posting Payments- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)- Commercial collections experience required- Microsoft Excel experience- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field- Relevant experience in accounts receivable- Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy- Skilled with ERP systems- Detailed and have the ability work independently
