As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Submit your application today!Your responsibilities- Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Other projects as necessary- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments- Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)Requirements- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience- Proficient in ERP systems- Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired- Expertise in financial reporting- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers- Ledger Reconciliations experience- Proven knowledge of AccountMate- Proficiency in Post Journal Entries- Month-end Journal Entries experience preferred- Well-founded grasp of Prepare Financial Statements- GAAP Accounting experience highly desired- General ledger experience- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
